For Nurses
Working with NLC as a nursing professional.
We place Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Care Aides across acute, long-term, residential, and community care settings throughout British Columbia.
Yes. To work as an RN or LPN through NLC, you need an active license with BCCNM. Care aides need to be registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
Pay rates depend on role, experience, and shift type. We offer competitive hourly rates and pay reliably on a regular schedule. We'll discuss specifics during your onboarding call.
Yes. We work with your availability and offer flexible scheduling — full-time, part-time, casual, or weekend-only. You decide what works for you.

For urgent same-day or next-day coverage we draw from our on-call roster. For planned needs, we typically confirm staff within 24 hours of your request.
We work with hospitals, long-term care homes, residential and assisted living facilities, community health organizations, and home-care providers across British Columbia.

Yes. Every nurse and care aide on our roster is credential-verified, reference-checked, and covered by our insurance. We are fully licensed and compliant with provincial standards.
Absolutely. We offer permanent placement and temp-to-permanent arrangements. Talk to us about the role and we'll structure something that works.
